Mr. Cantley is a trial lawyer whose practice includes both civil and criminal cases. In the civil realm, Mr. Cantley litigates construction defect, real estate, and commercial disputes. In state criminal proceedings, Mr. Cantley handles traffic offenses like DUI, misdemeanors, and felonies. Mr. Cantley is an accomplished advocate in the courtroom, having tried more than 30 jury trials to verdict.
Mr. Cantley began his career in the Public Defender's Office where he managed a high case volume and litigated in the courtroom almost every day. Before joining Nelson Law Firm, Mr. Cantley was a solo practitioner, where he expanded his criminal practice to include landlord-tenant disputes. Mr. Cantley has secured numerous favorable outcomes and verdicts for his clients, including in high-stakes cases and appeals.
