Mr. Sweeney focuses his practice on construction defect litigation, real estate, criminal, and personal injury cases. He has substantial experience as a trial attorney. He has done more than 75 jury trials in Colorado.
Mr. Sweeney's work as an experienced litigator has led him to represent a wide variety of clients, including individuals, homeowners, homeowner's associations, lawyers, architects, general contractors and subcontractors in actions throughout Colorado. His expertise involves handling disputes for construction defect issues, including claims for breach of contract, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, misrepresentation, and nondisclosure.
In addition, as a former Deputy District Attorney in Colorado, he has significant experience and interest in the criminal justice system. He is an effective litigator and advisor for criminal matters. He received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2008.
