Ms. Nelson is a Member of The Nelson Law Firm. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of construction defect litigation, real estate, premises liability and personal injury. Ms. Nelson is an experienced trial lawyer licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of both Colorado and Florida.
Ms. Nelson represents homeowners, homeowner's associations, architects, general contractors, materials suppliers and subcontractors in construction defect actions throughout Colorado. She has also lectured and published on a wide variety of topics involving construction law in Colorado and Wyoming.
She has successfully tried to verdict cases involving real estate fraud, Colorado Consumer Protection Act and premises liability. She has also represented attorneys, investment firms, securities broker-dealers, franchisees, lenders, credit agencies and insurers in state and federal court.
Ms. Nelson has been a mediator certified by Community Mediation Services since 2004. She has mediated victim/offender restorative justice cases and disputes between landlords, tenants, neighbors and families.
